How to get there
How to get Intelligence working? Which steps have to be taken is quite obvious, but how much time and effort it needs, is very much dependent on the maturity of reporting & analysis within an organisation. And the culture of numbers and technology being used are quite important factors to be considered. This journey may take years. 1st: Implement 2opus C2PC
The first step within the Financials organisation is to get the Coda raw data onto a data analytics platform like Qlik Sense. The operation will be enabled to analyse CODA data, based on the standards being provided by the 2opus C2PC (Coda to People connector). Within an organisation, it tends to be a Finance department initiative.
2nd: Expand Analysis
Based on the APPs deployed in the 1st step, more business KPIs have to be developed and explored. More people have to be connected to work with the analytics platform. We are helping with experienced consultancy around this organisational aspects, and of course, are ready to develop the APPs in Qlik Sense. But to move forward the customer should build a Team, to push and manage the activities. And further on make sure that the data integrity assurance is on proven trail from the very beginning.
3rd: Integration
The next step focuses on all the analysis requirements and the core processes within the organisation. Maybe in some departments BI initiatives have begun also, with different results in quality and delivered analytics. These have to integrated into a common platform for all. Only a dedicated BI Team will be able to orchestrate, not only the people, but as well the underlying technologies.

4th: Strategy
This is the most challenging step, get the company strategies and measurements molded into the BI activities. Align the core business KPIs and the steering KPIs into the overall concept. This requires a strong Management of the BI processes, and an integrated structure of the analytics platform within the company data.
Starting with parts of the measurements taken by management decisions, forming into KPIs, reporting and analyzing on these while checking the progress on measurements as such. Starting slowly to be more interactive with decision making and following the progress.
